TexSense is a browser extension that shows real-time body word count statistics while users write LaTeX documents inside Overleaf.
This extension is designed with privacy-first principles. No personal or document data is stored, transmitted, or sold.
TexSense processes LaTeX document content locally inside the user's browser to compute writing statistics.
The extension may read text content from the Overleaf editor page solely for the purpose of calculating word counts.
The following principles apply:
TexSense does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties.
Document content processed by the extension is used only for local computation inside the browser session.
TexSense does not rely on remote code execution or external analytics services.
All processing is performed locally within the user’s browser environment.
Users can disable or remove the extension at any time through browser extension settings.
